“Vote BJP unanimously, get Rs 10 lakh immediate development fund”; Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s open offer to Karimnagar villagers
BJP’s development spree in Karimnagar: If a candidate wins unanimously, a fund of Rs 10 lakh will be in your hands!
Karimnagar, November 26, 2025: The political atmosphere is heating up in the backdrop of the local body elections in the state of Telangana. These elections will be held in three phases on December 11, 14 and 17, and BJP Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar has made a unique offer to the villagers of Karimnagar district. He shared a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and said that if a village unanimously elects a BJP-backed candidate for the post of Sarpanch, then that village can immediately get Rs 10 lakh for development. He has clarified that this offer will be implemented without any delay or conditions.
Sanjay Kumar said, “As your MP, I have access to MPLADS (Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) funds. Also, crores of rupees have been raised through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), which are being invested in improving education and healthcare. As a Union Minister, I will get more central funds for the development of panchayats.” He criticized the previous governments, saying that the previous BRS government had promised Rs 5 lakh to the unanimously elected panchayats, but even after five years, not a single rupee was given. About 70 villages in Karimnagar area were unanimously elected to BRS candidates, but they did not get the funds. Similarly, the Congress government had also made similar false promises, due to which the villagers had to suffer financial losses.
The Union Minister further said, “Congress and BRS are now preparing to do the same fraud again. The people of Karimnagar should not fall for their temptations. Only BJP can really provide development funds. If by any chance other party candidates win, then no new funds will come and central funds can be diverted elsewhere. Vote for BJP-supported candidates, let’s win together and always take our village towards all-round development!”
This offer is for every village in Karimnagar constituency, which has given the BJP a lot of enthusiasm in the local elections. Although this announcement is being welcomed by the villagers, it is likely to be criticized by the opposition.
