Nagpur, November 29, 2025: The city of Nagpur in Maharashtra is about to gain a new grandeur. India's largest hotel and convention center will be built in the MIHAN (Multi-modal International Hub and Airport at Nagpur) area. This project will boost the economic development of the city and gain recognition at the international level. This ambitious project is coming to fruition due to the special efforts of the state government, and its design and facilities will be very grand.
This hotel-convention center will be 17 stories high and will have more than 300 rooms. The structure will be modern and eco-friendly, and it will include international-class convention halls, multipurpose halls, ballrooms and conference rooms. Notably, the centre will be able to accommodate over 5,000 people at a time, making it ideal for large conferences, exhibitions and business events. The hotel will have luxury suites, a spa, a gym, a swimming pool and restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, which will be a center of attraction for tourists and businessmen.
The project is said to cost around Rs 1,500 crore, most of which will be invested by a private developer. A leading real estate company has been selected as the development partner and construction work will begin soon. As per the expected timeline, the centre will be completed by 2028, repositioning Nagpur as the 'Business Hub of Central India'. This will boost local employment generation and this project, connected to the airport, will be a milestone in the development of Nagpur and will also be an inspiration for other cities in the state.
