A special poem by Ramdas Athavale in front of all party leaders on the occasion of the inauguration of Chimpi Airport

Chiefminister Uddhav Thackeray inaugurated the cornerstone of the airport at Chipi in Sindhudurg district. The inauguration ceremony of Greenfield Airport Sindhudurg project under the Flight-Regional Connectivity Scheme was held in the presence of Union Minister Narayan Rane, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat and other ministers. All the great leaders expressed their views in speeches this time. RPI leader and Union Minister of State Ramdas Athavale commented on the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance in his own style. Athavale wished him well in his poetic style.

 
Athavale started his speech by saying that the development of Sindhudurg will be strengthened because the plane has arrived in Chipi from Mumbai. Speaking further, Athavale expressed the expectation that if we still increase tourism, planes will come to this place from many places. Athavale also underlined that we have come together today, leaving politics aside. Athavale from the platform where all party leaders were present also said that politics is not necessary everywhere.
While stating that this airport is necessary for the development of Konkan, Athavale commented on tourism in Konkan. Athavale said that just like people from all over the world come to Goa, they will also come to Konkan because of this airport. Athavale was happy to have us on this plane for the first time.
After that, seeing Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Union Minister Narayan Rane sitting together on the stage, looking at them, Uddhav Thackeray and Narayan Rane came together. The audience burst into laughter. He also recalled that everyone worked together for the airport. Athavale ended his speech with a poem. He concluded his speech by saying that the storm of development is coming to this place in Sindhudurg.
