A tribal girl who went to school to fetch her 10th mark sheet was raped by two youths.
This incident took place in Alapalli village of Aheri taluka.
Gadchiroli: An incident of rape of a minor tribal girl has come to light in Aheri taluka of the district. When the victim went to school to fetch her 10th mark sheet, two youths raped her. The incident took place in Alapalli village of Aheri taluka. Aheri police have arrested two accused in this case and the names of the arrested accused are Roshan Godselwar (age 23 of Alapally) and Nihal Kumbhare (age 23).
Accused Nihal is a friend of the victim. A tribal girl from Etapalli taluka had given her 10th standard exam from a school in Alapalli. She had gone to school on Saturday to get the mark sheet as her 10th result was declared recently. As she was unwell at that time, her friend Nihal took her to his Roshan's room. On Saturday evening, the duo forced her to drink alcohol and raped her alternately and abandoned her in the night at the square in Alapally. After that, the victim Kashibashi went to her village in Etapalli and told the family about the ordeal.
The victim girl along with her family reached Aheri police station and lodged a complaint against the accused. B.D.V. on the accused. 376, a case has been registered under the POSCO Act. Aheri police arrested the accused late on Sunday night and registered a case of rape against them under the Anti-Child Sexual Abuse Act.
