Adani became the largest airport operator along with Mumbai International Airport

Gautam Adani Group has taken over the management of Mumbai International Airport, the company said on social media Twitter. This has made Adani the largest airport operator in the country. Adani writes, "I am happy to have taken over the management of World Class Mumbai International Airport. We promise to be proud of Mumbai Airport and we will succeed. '
Earlier, Adani Airport Holdings Limited had taken over the management and development of Bangalore, Lucknow and Ahmedabad airports and Jaipur, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram airports would be acquired by the end of July. The airport will be developed in six years and will be operated by Adani Group for 50 years.
Adani Airport Holdings has bought a 23.5 per cent stake in Mumbai Airport for Rs 1,685.25 crore. The stake has been bought by two foreign companies, ACSA Global and ACSA (Beedwest) Mauritius. It is understood that it has also acquired the right to develop Navi Mumbai Airport by purchasing a 50.5 per cent stake from GVK Group.
