Appointment of Ranjit Singh Disley as World Bank Education Advisor

Solapur: The World Bank has appointed Ranjit Singh Disley, the first Indian teacher to receive the Global Teacher Award, as a consultant. This appointment is for the period June 2021 to June 2024. The World Bank has launched a program called Global Coach to improve the quality of in-service training for teachers around the world.
The objectives are to increase the level of educational attainment of children around the world, to bring more coherence in the in-service training program for teachers around the world, to provide timely training to teachers, and to develop leadership qualities in teachers through training.
Twelve individuals from around the world have been selected as consultants to achieve these goals. Through this committee, Disley Guruji said that he will strive to create 21st century teachers by creating technology-based training programs.
Ranjit Singh Disley, the first Indian teacher to receive the Global Teacher Award, and Oghaogha have also been crowned India. It has recently come to light that scholarships will be given to students in Italy in the name of Disley.
