Mumbai Fort Court rejects Aryan Khan's plea The court said Aryan's plea was rejected as it was not upheld. In such a scenario, Aryan Khan and all the other accused will now have to be taken to Arthur Road Jail tonight.
The other accused, including Aryan, had to be taken to the NCB office yesterday instead of one night in jail due to corona. He was examined at JJ Hospital today and sent to Arthur Road Prison. Moonmoon and Nupur have been sent to Byculla Women's Jail. Aryan and other accused will be kept in quarantine cell for 3 to 4 days.
Satish Manshinde had applied for interim bail in the Magistrate's Court, which was rejected. The court said it had no jurisdiction to hear the case and act on bail. The application was to be filed in the Sessions Court. So Aryan and the other lawyers had to go to Sessions Court. Bail has to be applied in the Sessions Court under the NDPS Act. In such a situation, Satish Manshinde and other lawyers are now likely to apply for bail in the Sessions Court. Aryan Khan and seven others have been remanded in judicial custody in the Mumbai cruise drugs case. All eight, including Aryan Khan, had applied for bail after Aryan Khan was remanded in custody.
