Be successful Collector's greetings to the students

Nagpur 26th: Be successful in academic life ??? Keep striving to achieve the goal, in the words of Collector R. Vimala today congratulated the students selected for foreign scholarships in the district.
The District Collector interacted with the meritorious students selected for foreign scholarships at Chhatrapati Sabha. Assistant Commissioner Social Welfare Babasaheb Deshmukh was present on the occasion.
16 students from the district have been selected to study abroad under Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship Scheme. Twelve of them met the district collector today, accompanied by their parents.
Ankit Ramteke, Akshay Bagde, Upendra Sonpimple, Oshin Pajare, Jyotirao Wankhede, Tanvi Shende, Nabhashree Jambhulkar, Nayan Meshram, Prashant Paunipagar, Vikas Bagde, Sharu Pajare, Swapnil Lingayat were present on the occasion.
The Department of Social Justice provides financial assistance to Scheduled Caste students to pursue postgraduate and research courses (PhD) abroad. Scholarships are provided under the Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship Scheme to students of Scheduled Castes who have been admitted for study abroad. The scholarship is awarded to students who are admitted to an educational institution abroad in the inner rank of three hundred globally for postgraduate degree and PhD. Under this scheme, a total of 75 students have been selected from the state for the academic year 2021-22.
A total of 23 students from Nagpur division have been selected in this list, 16 from Nagpur district, 4 from Bhandara district, 1 from Gondia district and 2 from Chandrapur district.
