Bicycle rally in Nagpur on September 22 on 'Car Free' day - Soda car cycle, metro catch slogan
Nagpur, Dec 21: A bicycle rally was organized on Wednesday morning on the occasion of World Car Free Day. The rally will start at 6.30 am from Ladies Club Chowk, Civil Lines. The bicycle rally will raise awareness on the need to adopt an eco-friendly transport system in the form of 'Leave the car, cycle and catch the metro'.
The cycle rally will be jointly organized by Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur Police, Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation, Nagpur Metro, Mills and Millers, Cycle for Change, India Pedals, Laughter Rider and Runners.
This is an important initiative to reduce pollution in the city by promoting eco-friendly transport system in the city. The message of environmental protection and conservation along with good health will be conveyed through this cycle rally.
