Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Kalyan Singh dies at the age of 89, was a chief architect of Ram Mandir success

Kalyan Singh (Babu ji) is no more. He breathed his last at SGPGI at the age of 89. Former UP CM and Governor Kalyan Singh was hospitalized for 48 days. Was on ventilator for 7 days. On June 21, he was admitted to Lucknow's Lohia Hospital with difficulty in breathing. After this, he was shifted to PGI on July 4 due to no improvement in health. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister have condoled the death of Kalyan Singh.
Kalyan Singh was the first CM of BJP in UP. After becoming the CM for the first time, he had taken oath to build Ram temple by going directly to Ayodhya. Kalyan Singh was the Chief Minister of UP during the demolition of Babri structure in Ayodhya on 6 December 1992. He did not allow firing on kar sevaks.
Born on 5 January 1932 in the village of Madhauli, Aligarh
Kalyan Singh was born on 5 January 1932 in Madhauli village of Atrauli tehsil of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Kalyan Singh, who was one of the tallest leaders of BJP, was also the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the Governor of Rajasthan.
At one point, Kalyan was one of the biggest faces of the Ram Mandir movement. He was recognized as a Hindutvawadi and an intense orator.

Kalyan Singh was the Chief Minister of UP for 2 times. He was also the first CM of BJP in UP. He was Chief Minister in the first term from 24 June 1991 to 6 December 1992 and for the second time from 21 September 1997 to 12 November 1999.
