Funds of Rs 30 crore approved for robotic surgery unit in Nagpur's superspeciality hospital!

Nagpur: Robotic surgery facility will now be available in the second government superspeciality hospital in Nagpur city. The state government has approved a fund of Rs 30 crore for this advanced technology unit, informed District Surgeon Dr. Raj Gajbhiye. With this decision, Nagpur patients will now get the opportunity to undergo advanced surgeries in government facilities instead of expensive private hospitals.
This unit will increase the accuracy of complex surgeries and improve the quality of patient treatment. Dr. Gajbhiye said, "This new unit will give a new dimension to Nagpur's healthcare. This will make treatment of cancer, heart disease and other serious diseases easier. The process of construction and installation of equipment will start soon after the funds are approved." This project will provide advanced medical services to local patients free of cost or at a low cost, which will revolutionize the health sector.
