Good news for unemployed youth! Teacher recruitment for Tribal Ashram Schools to be conducted via the 'Pavitra' portal.

Amravati (June 9, 2026): There is important and welcome news for the state's educated youth who are unemployed and awaiting teacher recruitment. The state government has taken a historic decision to fill vacant teaching positions in government-run Ashram schools under the Tribal Development Department directly through the 'Pavitra' computerized system. An official government order regarding this was issued today, Tuesday, June 9.
This new process will bring transparency to teacher recruitment and completely curb fraudulent practices. There will no longer be any scope for lobbying or political recommendations; selection will be based entirely on merit.
Key Points:
Recruitment Process: To be implemented at the level of four Additional Commissioners (Tribal Development): Nagpur, Amravati, Thane, and Nashik.
Committee: A five-member special selection committee, chaired by the Additional Commissioner, will be constituted to rigorously verify candidates' documents.
Positions Included: Primary teachers, secondary teachers, and junior college teachers.
Tenure: The 'Shikshan Sevak' (probationary teacher) period will generally be three years.
Benefits: Vacancies that have remained unfilled for years in schools located in tribal and extremely remote areas will be filled quickly, thereby preventing academic loss for students.
This recruitment drive brings significant relief to candidates holding D.T.Ed., B.Ed., and TET/TAIT qualifications. A detailed recruitment schedule and further information will soon be announced by the respective Additional Commissioners.
This decision has offered a ray of hope to thousands of unemployed aspiring teachers across the state.
