Nagpur dt. 01: Government Hostels for Backward Class Students run by the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government Residential School will start soon. The admission process has been started offline and online. Soon all government hostels in Nagpur division will be started. This has brought some relief to the backward class students.
Government hostels have been closed for the past two years due to the outbreak of Kovid-19. In some hostels, Kovid Center or Home Separation Center was started as per the policy of the government. The state government has decided to start the school as the incidence of corona has decreased. Therefore, in order not to inconvenience the accommodation and meals of the students studying in the school and college, frequent statements were being received from various organizations. Taking special note of this statement, Dr. Prashant Naranware, Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, Pune, followed up at the government level considering the educational interests of the students, followed by discussions with Arvind Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, and Dhananjay Munde, Minister for Social Justice. He has taken note of this and has taken initiative to ensure that the students are not harmed in any way.
Considering the interest of the students, it has been approved to start government hostels in Nagpur division so that the backward class students do not suffer any kind of educational loss. In the next 3-4 days, government hostels in the social justice department will be started. Given by Siddharth Gaikwad.
