Raj Kundra relieved for a week from arrest in pornography case
Mumbai: The High Court has granted relief to Raj Kundra in a case filed by the Mumbai Police Cyber ??Cell in the 2020 pornography case. In this case, Raj Kundra has been given protection from arrest for a week. Raj Kundra is currently in judicial custody in a case filed by the Mumbai Police Property Cell.

The petition was heard before Justice Sandeep Shinde on Wednesday. Charlene Chopra and Poonam Pandey, the other accused in the case, have been granted interim protection by the court and have been arrested in another case of pornography.
Electronic equipment and documents were also seized during the investigation. "Therefore, we do not need to be re-arrested for questioning," Kundra told the High Court. He was opposed by Additional Public Prosecutor Prajakta Shinde on behalf of the state government.
Raj Kundra's role in this case is different from that of the other accused. The state government, therefore, sought time from the high court to present its case, claiming that it could not seek protection on the basis of equality. Noting this, the High Court granted Raj Kundra protection from arrest for a week and adjourned the hearing till August 25.
