Maharashtra is also taking very important steps in the field of higher and technical education as many new institutes have been set up in the field of technical education. The JJ School of Art will become a state of the art state in the coming months. It is also a matter of great pride for the state that a government music college is being set up in the state. Minister of State for Home (Cities) Satej Patil said that All India Institute of Technical Education, New Delhi is working to improve the quality of education in the country.
