The ED issued the fifth summons to Anil Deshmukh after the Supreme Court rejected the petition

Mumbai: Anil Deshmukh had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking protection against the ED's action in the money laundering case. However, after the petition was rejected by the court on Monday, the ED has once again issued summons to Anil Deshmukh. This is the fifth summons issued to Anil Deshmukh by the ED. The ED has summoned the former home minister to appear for questioning on Wednesday morning. Will Anil Deshmukh appear for questioning now? Such a question is now being posed.

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has leveled serious allegations against former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh for recovering Rs 100 crore. The ED is investigating Anil Deshmukh's allegations of financial misconduct. In this operation, the ED has so far raided Anil Deshmukh's hotels, colleges and houses. Therefore, ED's farce around Anil Deshmukh is becoming more and more obscure. The ED has recently summoned Anil Deshmukh for the fifth time and asked him to appear for questioning on August 18.
Earlier, the ED had summoned Anil Deshmukh and his son Rishikesh Deshmukh for questioning in the case. However, Anil Deshmukh has not been questioned yet. The ED has also expressed displeasure in court over the non-response of Anil Deshmukh to the summons sent by the ED.
