The court rejected the bail pleas of Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe

Mumbai: A Mumbai court has rejected the bail pleas of Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe, who were arrested in a porn racket case. Earlier on Tuesday, the court had remanded Raj Kundra in judicial custody for 14 days. The Mumbai Crime Branch had sought a seven-day police remand for Raj Kundra. However, the court refused to grant a third remand.

 
Mumbai Police has said that Raj Kundra was actively involved in the production of pornographic films. The Mumbai Crime Branch has also claimed that there is strong electronic evidence against Raj Kundra. Mumbai police have also found evidence of dealing in exchange for a porn film. At the same time, the Directorate of Enforcement has also been active in this regard. According to Mumbai Police, Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra earned at least Rs 1.25 crore between August and December last year from the production of the porn film and its online release.
The Mumbai Police Crime Branch had in February this year raided a bungalow in Madh in connection with a porn film case. After that, Raj Kundra immediately deleted all his data and also changed his mobile phone, sources said.
After the arrest of Raj Kundra on July 20, many shocking revelations have come to light. The Mumbai Crime Branch has also investigated the bank accounts of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty in this case. It has been revealed that crores of rupees are being transacted from Raj Kundra's bank accounts. Raj Kundra's two bank accounts in Kanpur have been sealed.
