UGC instructs colleges to complete the admission process before September 30, as well as start the new semester from October 1

New Delhi: The Central University Grants Commission has issued an academic schedule for colleges and universities. It stipulates that the admission process for the first year of college should be completed before September 30 so that the regular session will start from October 1.

 
The University Grants Commission has directed the universities to conduct the final year examinations before August 31 and conduct them online or offline. The University Grants Commission has also clarified that the assessment of intermediate students should be done on the basis of the previous semester and the guidelines given in 2020 should be followed.
The results of the XII will be released on July 31. After this result, colleges can start their admission process. If for some reason the result of the board exam is delayed, the colleges can plan to start their academic session by October 18, 2021, the University Grants Commission has clarified.
