Vaccination should be accelerated with the help of Cm funds and NGOs - Aditya Thackeray

Mumbai: Vaccination work on Kovid-19 is in full swing in the municipal area. Aditya Thackeray, the Guardian Minister for Environment and Mumbai Suburban District, suggested that vaccination should be expedited by increasing the availability of vaccines in view of the possibility of a third wave.

 
Thackeray along with Mumbai Municipal Corporation officials reviewed various works in the city including vaccination. Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal, Additional Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide, P. Velarasu, Suresh Kakani, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Joint Commissioner Chandrasekhar Chore, Deputy Commissioner Rajan Talkar, Ajay Rathore etc. were present on this occasion.
At the beginning of the review meeting, Minister Thackeray reviewed the Kovid-19 preventive vaccination in the BMC area. Additional Commissioner Suresh Kakani presented the details. After learning about the information, Thackeray said that efforts should be made to make vaccine stocks available through non-governmental organizations as well as corporate social responsibility funds, for those who want to get a second dose of the vaccine but have not taken it, as well as those who are at risk. The necessary measures should be taken for such citizens, said the Guardian Minister Thackeray.
Aditya Thackeray also reviewed the potholes on the roads in the city. He also discussed various measures to fill the pits. He also said that the complaints received from the citizens about the potholes in their area should be addressed immediately. During the meeting, they also reviewed the measures taken to deal with the flood situation in the city.
