Yashomati's co-operative panel proved its dominance by winning 12 seats.


Amravati, dt. 5- Amravati District Central Co-operative Bank Election was the focus of the state. The co-op panel proved its dominance by winning 12 seats.
  The veterans also lost in today's result. Minister of State for Education Bachchu Kadu defeated Bablu Deshmukh, while Bablu Deshmukh defeated veteran leader Sanjay Khodke. Minister for Women and Child Development Yashomati Thakur and Minister of State Bachchu Kadu had made this election a matter of prestige.
Out of 21 directors posts of District Central Co-operative Bank, four directors were elected unopposed. Voting was held for the remaining 17 seats. Minister of State Bachchu Kadu defeated Bablu Deshmukh from Chandurbazar Seva Society constituency. In this constituency, Bachchu Kadu got 23 votes and Deshmukh got 19 votes. On the other hand, Bablu Deshmukh from OBC constituency defeated Sanjay Khodke, the main promoter of Parivartan Panel.
Along with Parivartan Panel leader Sanjay Khodke, Melghat MLA Rajkumar Patel, Akot MLA and Prakash Patil Bharasakle from Daryapur Seva Sahakari Society, Sudhir Suryavanshi, Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Urban Bank Chairman Rajendra Mahalle, Ajay Patil, Jayshree Deshmukh and Sunil Shisode lost the election.  The co-operative panel proved its dominance once again. Former MLA from Chandur Railway Service Co-operative Society Pvt. Virendra Jagtap defeated Kishore Kadu of Parivartan Panel by getting 21 votes. Sudhakar Bharasakale defeated MLA Prakash Bharasakale from Daryapur Society while MLA Balwant Wankhade defeated MLA Rajkumar Patel from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes constituency. Interestingly, this year's election was very high profile. Because many veterans jumped into it, the attention of the entire district was drawn to this election.
