'Honour killing' in Alwar, Father-elder son murdered

Alwar. A very sad incident has come to light in Alwar city of Rajasthan. A father and his son were murdered due to a love marriage in Sadar police station area. The case is from Sadar police station area. The younger son of the family had eloped from home and married a girl from the same village two months ago. Since then the family was receiving death threats.
On Wednesday night, both the father and the elder son were returning home, when the neighbors (girl's family) attacked them. Police said that the post-mortem of the bodies of both has been done and handed over to their families.
The elder brother had returned to the village from Gurgaon, the father had gone to pick him up
According to the information, the younger son of the family, Shubham, had a love marriage with a girl named Sneha. Shubham's elder brother Robin used to work in Gurgaon. He lived there with his brother-in-law Pawan. On Wednesday, Robin was returning from Gurgaon to his village Pahadiwas Karauli. Pawan left Robin near Chikani and went to Alwar. Robin's father Suraj came to pick him up and both of them left for their village.
The attackers were waiting in ambush some distance away from the house
Robin and his father Suraj were at a short distance from their house. At that time some people were waiting in ambush there. These people included Dayal, Satvir, Shashi, Prem Kanta, Mona, Ramana and Veerbhan. They had weapons like sticks, rods, Farsi and Tachaiya. As soon as Robin and his father reached there, these people attacked them. In this attack, Robin and his father Suraj died on the spot.
Marrying Sneha proved costly
Robin's brother-in-law Pawan told that about two months ago, Robin's brother Shubham had eloped and married a girl from the neighborhood, Sneha. Since this incident, the neighbors were threatening to kill Robin and his family.
Pawan further said, 'On the same day that Robin eloped with Sneha and married her, a boy from the village, Manpreet, eloped with Sneha's aunt's daughter and married her. I believe that the plan was not to kill my brother-in-law late last night, the plan was to kill the village boy, Manpreet.'
