“Police Issue Stern Warning Against Concerts Violating Rules in Mumbai; No Approval for Events Without Permission”

Mumbai: The police administration has adopted a strict stance regarding concerts and large-scale events organized within the city. The Police Commissioner has issued a clear warning stating that no concert shall be organized without proper permission or in violation of established regulations.
The Police Commissioner emphasized that prioritizing public safety is of paramount importance. Consequently, it is mandatory for organizers to obtain all necessary permits and strictly adhere to all rules and regulations. He further clarified that stringent action would be taken against anyone found violating these norms.
Recently, complaints had surfaced regarding events being organized in certain locations without adherence to the prescribed rules. In response, the administration has heightened its vigilance, and rigorous measures are being implemented to curb such incidents.
The police have issued explicit directives to organizers, mandating that they obtain permission from all relevant departments prior to organizing any event. Furthermore, compliance with regulations pertaining to security, crowd management, and noise pollution is deemed essential.
