“Your turn won’t come for the next 30 years”; Amit Shah’s direct warning to Rahul Gandhi

Delhi | Union Home Minister Amit Shah has launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Speaking at an event for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 43 projects worth ?8,941 crore under the Delhi Jal Board, Shah addressed Rahul Gandhi, stating, “Your turn will not come for at least the next 30 years. I know you cannot hear my voice, as you are sitting somewhere abroad. Why you are sitting there is a matter of your personal life; but once you return to Delhi, take note of what I am saying—your turn will not come for the next 30 years.” Shah remarked that the BJP—from its booth-level workers up to Prime Minister Narendra Modi—has millions of members who live among the public, understand their hardships and pain, and work diligently to resolve their issues. He advised that nothing is achieved through protests and demonstrations, suggesting instead that one should work for the people of the constituency from which they were elected. Criticizing the handling of the Yamuna River, Shah said, “Your party was in power for 30 years, yet did nothing for the Yamuna. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the BJP will have the honor of cleaning the Yamuna from Yamunotri all the way to the Sangam.” He also took an aggressive stance regarding Punjab, asserting, “We will respond to Arvind Kejriwal’s questions only after his government in Punjab is toppled. The people of Punjab have decided that this time, an NDA government will be formed.” Addressing Rahul Gandhi’s allegations—which accused the BJP of ‘stealing votes’ to protect infiltrators—Shah presented data, noting that the Congress has not won a single election in Bengal for 54 years, in Arunachal Pradesh for 12 years, and in Delhi for 18 years. This statement by Amit Shah has become a subject of intense discussion within political circles.
