‘Will Iran Invade India’s Kitchens?’: Israeli Ambassador Poses Shocking Question; A Major Warning to Indians Amidst Gas Crisis

New Delhi (Online Correspondent): Following the intensification of the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran—and Iran’s subsequent blockade of the Strait of Hormuz—India is facing a severe shortage of gas and LPG. Against this backdrop, Israel’s Ambassador to India, Reuben Azar, has posed a provocative question to the Indian public: "Will Iran decide when the next meal is cooked in India?"
Speaking at the ‘India Today Conclave,’ Ambassador Reuben Azar stated, "Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz has triggered a gas crisis in India. Two LPG tankers were able to depart for India only after receiving permission from Iran. Would you be comfortable with a situation where your 'so-called friend'—Iran—dictates when your next meal gets cooked?"
The Ambassador further clarified that, since the outbreak of hostilities, Israel has launched attacks on 15,000 Iranian military targets. "We are not attacking the entire West Asia; we are acting solely in self-defense. Iran is armed with weapons of mass destruction and has been attacking us for the past 40 years. If Iran is neutralized, not only will Israel be secure, but India will be safe as well," Azar asserted.
During the session, he warned Indians that policies concerning Iran have a direct bearing on India’s food security. "Are you prepared to accept a scenario where kitchens across India shut down if Iran decides to launch an attack?"—by raising this question, he drew attention to the critical issue of India’s energy security.
Currently, the prices of gas cylinders and LPG have surged across India, causing significant hardship for the common citizen. Against this backdrop, Ambassador Azar’s pointed question has become a subject of intense public debate.
