"If anyone issues threats, the police will give a fitting reply" – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reacted strongly today after Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut demanded an inquiry by the Mumbai Police Commissioner regarding alleged statements concerning bombs and weapons.
Chief Minister Fadnavis said, "We will not allow anyone's home to be blown up by a bomb. No one should be intimidated by such hollow threats. If anyone issues threats, the police will give a fitting reply."
There has been intense discussion in political circles regarding statements allegedly made by Sanjay Raut a few days ago concerning the use of bombs and weapons. Raut had lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and demanded an investigation into the matter. Responding to this, Chief Minister Fadnavis emphasized that the rule of law would be upheld in the state.
Fadnavis's statement has sparked a new debate in Maharashtra's politics. The ruling party has previously opposed such statements, characterizing them as threats.
