2nd Ankur Seeds Carrom Competition on 5th, 6th August
Nagpur Press Club and Sports Journalists Association of Nagpur organized the 2nd Ankur Seeds Carrom Competition for media personnel in the city. The tournament will be held on 5th and 6th August 2023 at the air-conditioned auditorium of Nagpur Press Club, Civil Lines. Members working in print and electronic media as well as portals can participate in the competition organized in singles and doubles groups.
The tournament will be inaugurated on August 5 at 9 am. Nagpur Press Club President Pradeep Maitra, Secretary Bramha Shankar Tripathi, SJAN President Dr. Ram Thakur, Secretary Paritosh Samanika and organizer of the competition Charudatta Kahu will be present on this occasion. The prize distribution ceremony will be held on August 6 at 2 pm.
Cash prizes
Winners, runners-up of singles and doubles carrom competition will be awarded attractive cash prizes and mementos. The winners of the singles competition will get a cash prize of Rs 7,000, the runners-up will get Rs 5,000 and the third runner-up will get a cash prize of Rs 3,000. The winners of the doubles category will get Rs 10,000, the runners-up will get Rs 7,000 and the third runner-up will get Rs 5,000.
Admission Fee and Application
The entry fee is Rs 100 for singles and Rs 200 for doubles. Entry forms will be available at Nagpur Press Club, Tilak Journalist Bhavan and sports desks of respective newspapers. Tickets can be deposited with Rajesh Sakharkar at Press Club or Devrao Pradhan at Tilak Jakartan Bhavan. Last date of admission is 1st August 2023.
