A wave of change in Bengal, Modi roars to end TMC's 'jungle raj'
Hooghly: Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government while addressing a public meeting in Hooghly, West Bengal. He said, 'Winds of change are blowing in West Bengal. The TMC's jungle raj will come to an end.' Modi accused the Mamata Banerjee government of corruption, protecting infiltrators, and obstructing central government schemes. 'The people of Bengal are fed up with the tyrannical rule of the TMC. Only a double-engine government can guarantee development,' he said.
Reference to the Sandeshkhali incident
Referring to the Sandeshkhali incident, Modi said, 'Women there were subjected to atrocities, but the TMC government did not allow them to get justice.' He further added, 'More than 15 lakh citizens in Bengal will benefit from the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), but the TMC is opposing it.' Modi attacked the TMC, calling it 'Maha Jungle Raj,' and said, 'Protecting infiltrators and blocking central schemes is the policy of the TMC.'
