Ajit Pawar plane crash: Black box safe, Sunetra Pawar strongly demands CBI inquiry

Baramati, February 26, 2026: A new twist has come in the plane crash case of NCP (Ajit Pawar group) leader Ajit Pawar. Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar has demanded a CBI inquiry from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to investigate this accident. The DGCA report has come out that the black box in this case is safe, which is likely to reveal the causes of the accident.
Senior party leader Kiran Gujar gave this information at a press conference held at NCP Bhavan. He said, "Sunetra Pawar, MP Sunil Tatkare, Praful Patel and Parth Pawar have demanded a CBI inquiry to conduct a thorough investigation into Ajit Pawar's accident. Earlier on February 11, Jai Pawar had also made a similar demand. Chief Minister Fadnavis has initiated proceedings in this case."
Rohit Pawar's role is also important in this case. In the backdrop of Rohit Pawar coming to Baramati Taluka Police Station to register a case, the NCP (Ajit Pawar group) clarified its position. Gujar said, "Our demand is similar to Rohit Pawar's. We want there to be no inconsistencies and confusion in the investigation."
The black box data in the investigation of this accident will help reveal the mystery of what exactly happened during the accident. The Nationalist Congress Party has expressed its expectation for transparency and justice in this case. This demand has started a discussion in the political environment and more clarity is likely to come soon.
