Ajit Pawar's NCP's Jumbo Executive Announced; Rupali Patil Appointed as Working President
Pune, December 4, 2025: The Pune city branch of the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar group) made a big announcement today on the political stage in Maharashtra. Former MLA Sunil Tingre has been appointed as the city president for Pune East and former corporator Subhash Jagtap as the city president for Pune West. This jumbo executive has a total of more than 100 members, including 39 vice presidents, 22 general secretaries, 17 city general secretaries, 20 organizing general secretaries and various other positions have been filled. The main purpose of this announcement is said to be to remove discontent in the party and strengthen the organization before the upcoming municipal elections.
Special appointments and structure:
The most talked about appointment of this executive is that of Rupali Patil-Thombre as the working president. She will be responsible for resolving internal disputes and building unity in the party. Former MLA Mahadev Babar has been appointed as the state representative and Vikas Pasalkar from Sanji Brigade has been appointed as the spokesperson. Rakesh Kamthe has been appointed as the city coordinator, Balasaheb Bodke, Balasaheb Kodre, Narayan Lonkar and Vijay Dhere have been appointed as observers. A president has been appointed under the working president in each assembly constituency.
The Pune East region includes Vadgaon Sheri, Hadapsar, Shivajinagar and Kasba assembly constituencies. Party leaders are saying that this executive will bring a major change in the party's infrastructure and preparations for the elections will be intensified.
