Arvind Kejriwal claims - Voters' names are being removed from the voter list, BJP's hand
Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Buzz has already started in the political corridors of the capital Delhi regarding the assembly elections to be held next year. Aam Aadmi Party's national convener and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has continuously adopted an aggressive stance against the BJP. On Friday, Arvind Kejriwal once again made a big allegation against the BJP and claimed that the names of voters are being removed from the voter list in Delhi, whose number is in thousands. He said, 'The BJP has filed an application to remove the names of 11,018 voters in Shahdara area. But when we cross-checked that application on 500 names, 75 per cent of the people were still living there, but their names could be removed from the electoral list.'
Names of 11,000 voters being removed
Kejriwal claimed that AAP had won the Shahdara assembly seat by about 5,000 votes in the 2020 elections. The AAP convenor said, 'Names of about 11,000 voters are being removed in that constituency and most of these voters are AAP supporters.' AAP's Ram Niwas Goyal had won the Shahdara seat by defeating BJP's Sanjay Goyal. He said that in the last election, AAP had won the Shahdara assembly seat by about 5,000 votes. He alleged that now names of about 11,000 voters are being removed in that constituency and most of these voters are AAP supporters.
