Bharat Gogawale delivers a strong jibe at Ajit Pawar; the real credit for the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme goes to Eknath Shinde!
Pune: Employment Guarantee Scheme Minister Bharat Gogawale clearly stated that the entire credit for the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme in Maharashtra goes to Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He said that this scheme could not be implemented during the tenure of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, but Shinde successfully launched this scheme in Maharashtra after discussing it with former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
"The clock's ticking can stop at any time, which is why Ajit Pawar is currently going around sounding the alarm," Gogawale said, taking a sarcastic dig at Ajit Pawar. A public meeting was organized at Bhairavnagar in Dhanori for the campaigning of Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) candidates Girish Jaiwal, Meenakshi Mhaske, Pradeep Rawate, and Hemlata Bansode from Ward No. 1, in the context of the Pune Municipal Corporation elections.
Gogawale said, "Eknath Shinde has launched many public welfare schemes. Although other parties are trying to take credit for studying and bringing the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme to Maharashtra, the credit goes to Shinde." He further added, "If we stretch our bow and arrow, it will fly at full speed. This time, Shiv Sena is contesting the elections independently, and we are determined to elect the maximum number of corporators."
Stating that the candidates are capable and committed to solving the problems of the people, Gogawale warned that hooliganism in the area will not be tolerated. "The Konkani community is a traditional voter base of Shiv Sena, and this time too, they will stand by us," he said. In the meeting, Girish Jaiwal delivered a powerful speech, challenging the established leaders and expressing confidence in winning by a large margin. Many office bearers and citizens, including Satish Mhaske and Vivek Bansode, were present at the meeting.
