It was told that the boiler in the cold storage exploded, due to which there was a gas leak and the entire roof was blown away. According to sources, seven laborers died, while 50-60 laborers were injured. However, the official death toll has not been confirmed yet. And the age of those who died is said to be 25 to 35 years.
It was told that some laborers got buried under the debris and some fainted due to leakage, who have been admitted to Meerut Hospital.

The injured youth said that a group of 27 people had left for Meerut from Jammu at 1.30 pm on Wednesday. The contractor Jagdish Kumar had taken the level from Jammu. Everyone had reached Meerut at eight o'clock on Thursday morning. It was told that all the laborers had come for a month on a daily wage of Rs.1000.
According to the victims, some people had returned after work. There some people were doing the work of filling potatoes. Meanwhile, there was a loud explosion and dust balloons were formed. Meanwhile, the sound of shouting started coming. Slowly the lenter started falling completely. Everyone had come to Meerut for work for the first time.
At the same time, as soon as the information about the incident came, the people around gathered on the spot. Police and fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. And the laborers who fainted are being admitted to the hospital. There is an atmosphere of chaos in the area.
