Observers reached Kharge's house to report

Observers Sushil Kumar Shinde and Bhanwar Jitendra Singh, who came to Bengaluru after knowing the opinion of the MLAs, have reached Speaker Mallikarjun Kharge's house to submit their report. Shinde, Jitendra and the third observer Deepak Bawaria had held talks with the MLAs in Bengaluru till late Sunday night.
On the other hand, the party high command has called the big candidates for the post of CM - Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar to Delhi. Siddaramaiah has reached Delhi, while DK Shivakumar has said that he will not go to Delhi today due to stomach infection.
DK said that Congress has 135 MLAs. I don't have a single MLA. I have left the decision to the Congress high command. Earlier Shivkumar had said – I am a single man majority. I believe that a person becomes a majority when he has courage. Shivakumar was earlier scheduled to visit Delhi, but later canceled the tour.

DK Shivakumar told the media that the party won 135 seats under my chairmanship. Even when the government fell after our MLAs left the party, I did not lose heart. I will not tell what happened in the last 5 years.
Earlier, he had said that I have completed the work that was assigned to me. I don't know what gift the high command will give me on my birthday. The people of Karnataka have already given us the numbers.
Observers will submit report late night
Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that the observers would submit their report to party president Mallikarjun Kharge by night. Opinions will also be taken from other people. Tomorrow the process of electing the CM will be taken forward with the help of Congress President, Congress General Secretary (Organisation).
In Bengaluru, the observers interacted with the legislators for 4-5 hours during the Legislature Party meeting. Congress leader BK Hari Prasad told on Monday that secret ballot voting was also done to know the opinion in the meeting.
DK cut the cake in the Legislature Party meeting
The meeting took place on Sunday night at Shangri-La in Bengaluru. DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah were present during this. Siddaramaiah proposed that the Chief Minister should be elected by Kharge himself. Rest of the MLAs including DK supported this proposal. Supporters of DK and Siddaramaiah raised slogans outside the hotel during the Legislature Party meeting.
Before this meeting, DK Shivakumar had cut his birthday cake. He had described the victory in the election as the biggest birthday present.
