Census cycle will change, census will start from 2025, will there be caste census too?

Census To Start In 2025: Census is going to start in the country now. But the census cycle is about to change. Census, which is always held every ten years, will be held after 14 years this year. After 2011, census will be held in 2025 and then again in 2035, 2045, 2055 after ten years. Earlier census was conducted in 1991, 2001, 2011. Now, in the census to be held in 2025, information about the sect will be taken. The census will start in 2025 and will continue till 2026. Census was not conducted in 2021 due to Corona. But will there be a caste census in this census? There is no disclosure in this regard yet.

Caste census is being demanded by many opposition parties. But the government has not yet taken a decision in this regard. Religion and class are asked in the census. General, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are enumerated. At this time people may also be asked which sect they follow.
Until now, religion and class were asked in the census. Scheduled Castes and Tribes were counted equally. But this year sect will be asked. Like the common class Lingayat community in Karnataka considers itself a separate sect. Also, there are sects like Valmiki, Ravidasi in the Scheduled Castes. That means now religion, class along with sect will be the basis of calculation. The government is thinking about it.
