Congress's history exposed; Eknath Shinde delivers a stinging retort to Rahul Gandhi, says 'Look in the mirror before blaming the NDA'

Mumbai: After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign policy, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde gave a sharp rebuttal. Reminding the Congress of its political history, Shinde gave a fitting reply to the allegations leveled against the NDA.
Eknath Shinde stated that the Congress party itself has, over time, poached around 1,800 MLAs, appointed 115 individuals as ministers, and employed various tactics to gain power. "Face your own party's history before blaming the NDA," he asserted clearly. Shinde criticized the Congress's policy of "poaching" and highlighted the unity of the NDA.
Shinde raised this point and reminded the Congress of its past after Rahul Gandhi criticized Modi's foreign policy. The Deputy Chief Minister noted that the Congress has frequently engaged in the politics of poaching MLAs and MPs to secure power. In contrast, he maintained that the NDA has established a stable and strong alliance.
Shinde's statement has sparked discussion within political circles. The Congress has not yet issued an official response to this. However, in countering Rahul Gandhi's criticism, the Deputy Chief Minister has brought to light significant figures regarding the Congress party's political track record.
