Council of Ministers meeting: PM Modi gave the slogan of Perform, Reform, Transform and Inform

New Delhi: The first meeting of the Union Council of Ministers was held on Wednesday, in which many issues including the budget were discussed. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the new slogan of Perform, Reform, Transform and Inform. In his 40-minute address, the PM also advised to focus on better publicity of achievements.
The PM chaired the meeting of the Council of Ministers. In this, issues related to women and timely implementation of various policy measures were discussed prominently.
Projects worth more than 2.30 lakh crores approved
With its focus on infrastructure development, the NDA government has approved projects worth more than Rs 2.30 lakh crore for the construction of new railway lines, ports, airports and industrial smart cities to achieve the goal of developed India by 2047.
The Prime Minister has specifically asked the ministers to disseminate the decisions of their government faster and better.
The PM especially interacted with the new ministers who were ministers for the first time. At the end of the meeting, he also told the ministers in a light-hearted manner that this was just a small dose and he is hopeful that the ministers will get used to the way of working without stopping.
According to sources, the budget announcements made by the Union Finance Minister in Parliament were discussed in detail in the meeting. It was also decided in the meeting that the schemes which are completing 10 years will be celebrated on September 5.
