Decision of weekend lockdown in Delhi due to increasing prevalence of corona

New Delhi: The growing prevalence of corona is once again being felt in the country and the world. The new variant of the Corona, Omicron, is currently making waves around the world. Similarly, it has been decided to impose a weekend lockdown in Delhi, the capital of the country. The Kejriwal government has taken this decision due to the increased prevalence of corona. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself has been coronated.

 
The decision to impose a weekend curfew has been taken in view of the growing prevalence of corona in Delhi. Night curfew had already been imposed in Delhi. An important meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) was held today. The decision to impose stricter restrictions was made in view of the rapidly growing number of coronaviruses. The positivity rate in Delhi is increasing rapidly.
According to PTI, DDM officials said that a weekend curfew has been imposed in Delhi in the wake of rising corona outbreaks. He also said that apart from essential services in Delhi, all government officials have been instructed to work from home. In addition, 50 per cent of work from home has been asked from private institutions.
