Do not forget your duties while holding the Tricolour; CM Fadnavis’s advice to Gen-Z

Pune: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis indirectly advised Gen-Z that along with the rights granted by the Constitution, one must also uphold duties and responsibilities. On Tuesday, a Tricolour rally was organized in Pune under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, proceeding from Lalit Mahal Chowk to Deccan along Gokhale (Fergusson) Road. The rally concluded at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Chowk in Deccan Gymkhana, where Chief Minister Fadnavis addressed the gathering.
Present on the occasion were BJP State President Ravindra Chavan, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Minister of State Madhuri Misal, Mayor Manjusha Nagpure, Pimpri-Chinchwad Mayor Ravi Landge, Deputy Mayor Parshuram Wadekar, BJP State General Secretary Rajesh Pande, and City President Dheeraj Ghate, among others.
Fadnavis said, "The Constitution has granted us rights, but it has also entrusted us with certain duties and responsibilities. When we hold the Tricolour, we must remain mindful of those duties and responsibilities."
Referring to the vision of a developed Maharashtra, he said, "On this hallowed soil, today's youth have stepped out to build a new India. The Tricolour is in the hands of the youth, in their hearts, and woven into their very lives. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisioned a developed India. Along those same lines, we must all come together to envision a developed Maharashtra. We aim to build a developed Maharashtra in the near future, driven by the confidence of the youth."
Highlighting the legacy of Shivaji Maharaj, Mother Jijau, Lokmanya Tilak, and Krantiguru Lahuji Vastad Salve, Fadnavis stated, "As long as the sun and moon exist on earth, and as long as the *Mavalas* (loyal soldiers) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj remain, the Tricolour will never be lowered on this land." The youth of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Maharashtra have taken to the streets of Pune today, holding the Tricolour aloft. They have pledged, "We will never let the glory of this Tricolour be diminished!" The youth of Pune are the pride of Maharashtra; it is upon their conviction that the India of tomorrow must be built.
