
Eknath Shinde Striving for educational-economic development of Maratha society
Nagpur, Dt. 19: The government has implemented various schemes for the educational and economic development of the Maratha community. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured here today that the government is striving for all-round development while meeting the expectations of the common people.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were felicitated on behalf of the Maratha community. Chief Minister Shinde was responding to that felicitation ceremony. Swami Jitendranath Maharaj presided over the felicitation ceremony.
The ceremony was held in Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Hall here today evening. Member of Legislative Council Praveen Datke, Raje Dr. Mudhoji Bhosale, Raje Sangramsingh Bhosale, Shrikant Shinde, Shirish Rajeshirke, Narendra Mohite, Dilip Dhandre, Deepak Deshmukh and other dignitaries were present in this ceremony.
The program started by garlanding the bust of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by dignitaries and lighting the lamp. Maratha Samaj and office bearers of organizations related to Maratha Samaj in every district felicitated Chief Minister Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis.
Responding to the felicitation, Chief Minister Shinde said that I am an ordinary worker. Blessings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, inspiration of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, moving under the guidance of Sr. Balasaheb Thackeray, Sr. Anand Dighe. I got the opportunity to serve from an ordinary worker to the Chief Minister of the state. The opportunity given to me is to solve common problems. People see me as their man. Continuous efforts are being made for the development of the state. Therefore, our government is a government of common people, he said.
He further said that the government has started many schemes for the educational and economic development of the Maratha community. The government is ready for the ongoing court battle for the reservation of the Maratha community. He explained that through Annasaheb Patil Economic Backward Development Corporation, various loan schemes and educational scholarship schemes have been started and the students are being assisted.
Maratha youth should be the employer - Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis
The youth of the Maratha community are being given capital through Annasaheb Patil Economic Backward Development Corporation schemes for industry. The response of the Maratha youth is very positive and many businesses are starting successfully. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis asserted here today that the government is trying to make the youth of the Maratha community a job provider.
He said that on one hand the government is fighting a legal battle for the reservation of the Maratha community. Along with this, the government is trying to give justice to the Maratha youth through various schemes such as schemes that provide scope for entrepreneurship, hostel schemes, subsistence allowance schemes. Statement of 12 demands on behalf of the Maratha community Dr. Raje. Mudhoji Bhosale has given to the Chief Minister. I am ready to act as your advocate as a Nagpurkar to pursue these demands, said Shri. As soon as Fadnavis said, the audience clapped.
