Election Commission releases new figures, refutes opposition claims

According to a leaflet released by the Election Commission on Tuesday (December 10), when the counting of votes was held on November 23, the State Election Commission counted the VVPAT slips from five polling stations in each assembly constituency. There was no discrepancy. On the day of the results, the slips from 1,440 VVPAT units in 288 assembly constituencies were counted. No discrepancy was found in them.
