Nagpur, D.3: Departmental Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidri has today nominated the Departmental Coordination Officer for presenting the records of Kunbi Nondiche. Also, District Coordination Officer and Special Class have been established. Those persons in the Maratha community who have records or archives under Kunbi status, have appealed to the concerned District Coordination Officer, Yanchekade, to pay their respects to the Departmental Commissioner.
A vacant committee has been set up under the chairmanship of Honorable Justice Sandeep Shinde (retd) to prescribe the procedure for granting caste certificate to the people of Maratha community belonging to Maratha-Kunbi, Kunbi-Maratha caste. In this background, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today gave instructions to hold a meeting of all departmental commissioners and district magistrates through audio-visual medium regarding the submission of Kunbi records of persons belonging to Maratha community in the state. Accordingly, Deputy Commissioner (General) Pradeep Kulkarni has been nominated as Departmental Coordination Officer for Nagpur Department.
District coordination officers have been invited. Accordingly, Resident Sub Collector Subhash Chaudhary for Nagpur district, Land Development Officer Akash Avtare for Bhandara district, Resident Sub Collector Sanjay Pawar for Chandrapur district, District Supply Officer Prakash Patil for Gondia district, Resident Sub Collector Sunil Suryavanshi for Gadchiroli district and District Rehabilitation Officer Anjali Marod for Wardha district have been nominated as District Coordination Officer. A special class has been established in the district. Those Maratha persons who have Kunbi registration should submit such records during the office hours of the concerned District Coordination Officer or Special Class, such an appeal is made by the Departmental Commissioner.
