New Delhi: Revenue Secretary Sanjay Malhotra has been appointed as the new governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Malhotra will take over as the 26th governor of RBI on 11 December 2024. The term of the current governor Shaktikanta Das ends on 10 December. Malhotra's tenure as RBI governor will be of 3 years.
