Fadnavis Launches Scathing Attack on DMK Cabinet; 75 Percent of Ministers Face Criminal Charges

Madurai (Tamil Nadu): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has launched a scathing attack on the DMK government in Tamil Nadu. He asserted that 75 percent of the ministers in the Tamil Nadu cabinet are mired in corruption and face criminal charges.
Speaking in Madurai on Monday, Fadnavis stated, "75 percent of the ministers in the DMK government's cabinet face criminal charges. They are completely steeped in corruption." He further added that winds of change are blowing across Tamil Nadu ahead of the upcoming assembly elections; he predicted that an NDA government would be formed, while the DMK party would face defeat.
Fadnavis also commented on the language policy. Referring to the DMK's opposition to the Three-Language Formula, he remarked, "We are one people and one nation. We should take pride in our own language, but we must also respect the other languages ??of the country."
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has categorically refused to accept the Three-Language Formula. Speaking at a public meeting in Thanjavur, he declared that the state would never adopt the Three-Language Policy and would instead focus solely on the two languages: Tamil and English. He also alleged that the Central Government is attempting to impose Hindi through the National Education Policy.
Fadnavis's statement has sparked intense debate within Tamil Nadu's political landscape. Corruption is likely to emerge as a major issue in the upcoming elections.
