The Congress had to be content with 8 seats, while the Goa Forward Party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and the Revolutionary Goans Party each won 1 seat. Independent candidates secured 5 seats.
This election was considered a semi-final for the 2027 assembly elections. The people have once again shown their trust in the ruling BJP and the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
