Former Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal attacked with a knife in Nanded; one person detained

Nanded: Sukhbir Badal attacked with a knife while visiting a Gurudwara; Chief Minister Fadnavis inquires about his well-being. A man attacked former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal with a knife in Nanded, Maharashtra.
Following the incident, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called Sukhbir Singh Badal to inquire about his health. Subsequently, the Chief Minister sought details of the incident from the Nanded Superintendent of Police. He has directed the police to ascertain the motive behind the attack and conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
An official stated that the attack occurred around 2:15 PM in Nanded, Maharashtra, while Sukhbir Badal was on his way to Gurudwara Mata Sahib Devan Ji. According to the police, Badal was immediately taken to a private hospital for treatment. Police confirmed that one person has been detained in connection with the attack.
