Free Medical Camp Organized for Journalists on May 10th

Nagpur, May 7, 2026: The journalistic community serves as the backbone of the nation. It is absolutely vital for the country that this backbone remains healthy. With this objective in mind, a free medical camp will be organized under the joint auspices of "The Cancer Care Foundation, Nagpur" and the "Press Club of Nagpur" on **May 10, 2026**, at the **Press Club, Civil Lines, Nagpur**, from **10:00 AM to 4:00 PM**.

The primary objective of this medical camp is to raise awareness regarding cancer and to conduct health screenings for journalists and their family members, thereby ensuring they receive timely treatment and necessary medical facilities.

Free screenings for the following types of cancer will be conducted at the camp:

* ? Oral Cancer
* ? Breast Cancer
* ? Lung Cancer
* ? Ovarian Cancer

In addition, various other health services will also be available:

* ? Dental Check-up
* ? Eye Check-up
* ? Asthma & Respiratory Disease Screening
* ? Gynecological Consultation
* ? Bone Density Test
* ? Orthopedic Consultation
* ? General Health Check-up
* ? Blood Sugar Test
* ? Cardiac Screening

This camp is being organized by "The Cancer Care Foundation." The event will be graced by the distinguished presence of Mr. Deep Kumar Maitra, President of the Press Club, Nagpur.

Mr. Deep Kumar Maitra, the Chief Patron of this free medical camp, and Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Pasha, the Coordinator, will also be present at this press conference.
