Govinda teams salute the bravery of the army through Dahi Handi -- Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai, Date 16:- “Through Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has put into practice the determination and thoughts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. By destroying terrorist places in Pakistan, it has taught a lesson to the enemy and has shown its bravery to the world. Through today's Dahi Handi festival, the Govinda teams have done a wonderful job of saluting the bravery of the army,” said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited various programs in the city and suburbs on the occasion of Dahi Handi festival and wished the citizens.

Chief Minister Mr. Fadnavis met and interacted with the army personnel present on the occasion of Dahi Handi festival organized on Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg in Ghatkopar. Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, MLA Praveen Darekar, A. Ram Kadam were the chief guests at the program.

Chief Minister Fadnavis said,
“I wholeheartedly salute the soldiers of the army present at the Dahihandi festival and their bravery. The work done by the festival at Ghatkopar through social activities and cultural programs is remarkable. The fact that the Govinda teams have dedicated the Thar erected for the bravery of the army is an inspiring matter.”

Former army officer Anand Tiwari was felicitated by him. Chetan Shah and Rajesh Bhimsare were also felicitated for their social work.

Chief Minister’s presence at Dahihandi programs*

The Chief Minister, while attending the inaugural Dahihandi program in Tagore Nagar, Vikhroli, said, “When one layer is placed on top of another during the Dahihandi festival, an important message is given that the entire society is united. This is a symbol of everyone moving forward together,” he said.

Shruti Vinod Ghogle and Suhas Mate were present on this occasion. The Chief Minister was welcomed by giving him an idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Artists presented inspiring stories from the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj at the Parivartan Dahi Handi festival held at Worli Jamboree Ground. The artists were felicitated by Chief Minister Fadnavis for their excellent performances. Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha and MLA Praveen Darekar and other dignitaries were present at the event.

Also, Chief Minister Fadnavis, while attending the Dahi Handi festival being celebrated at the freedom fighter Sadakant Dhawan Udyan in Bhoiwada, wished Govinda and the citizens.
