Groundbreaking ceremony of the new building of the Civil Judge (Junior Level) Court at Mahad

State government's special priority to create judicial infrastructure -Devendra Fadnavis
Raigad Date 2:- The state government has consistently provided a fund of about 1000 crores every year for judicial infrastructure. It has also promptly implemented the proposal received from the High Court Committee and put the work on track. Keeping in mind the importance of infrastructure in the justice system, the state government has given special priority to creating judicial infrastructure. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed his belief that this will boost the speed of justice delivery in the state.
The groundbreaking ceremony and foundation stone laying ceremony of the new building of the Civil Judge (Junior Level) Court at Mahad in Raigad district were performed by Supreme Court Justice Shri. Bhushan Gavai, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde. He was speaking at the main function organized after this.
On this occasion, Supreme Court Justice Bhushan Gavai, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Bombay High Court Chief Justice Alok Aradhe, Women and Child Development Minister Ms. Aditi Tatkare, Employment Guarantee Scheme, Horticulture, Kharbhumi Development Minister Bharat Gogavale, High Court Justice Makarand Karnik, Justice Mr. Milind Sathye, Consumer Grievance Redressal Commission Chairman Surendra Tawde, In-charge Chief District and Sessions Judge, Raigad-Alibagh Dr. Shrishti Neelkanth, Mahad Lawyers Association, President Adv. Sanjay Bhise, Mahad Civil Judge (Senior Level) Pravin Unhale and other dignitaries were present on the platform.
Mahad, a historical place in Raigad district, is the land of Swarajya, Revolution and Equality. Stating that it is an honor to be present at the court Bhoomi Pujan program at this place, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's Chavdar Lake movement was a Satyagraha and a legal battle. This was not just a water movement, but it changed the state and direction of the country. This led to a revolution of equality and humanity. This is a victory for the cultural transformation of the country, said Chief Minister Fadnavis.
The government will provide all possible support to make the court building in Mahad well-equipped and of high quality. There will be no shortage of funds for this and the work of the building will be completed in record time, he also clarified on this occasion.
Chief Minister Mr. Fadnavis said that due to the three new criminal laws in the country, crime investigation, justice, forensic process will be more modern and effective. According to these new laws, in the coming time, the government has taken big steps to ensure that the accused do not have to be taken to court repeatedly. All the courts in the state will be connected to the internet and notified cubicles are being created. These cubicles will be connected online to the jails. This will make hearings possible through video conferencing. Cases will not remain pending due to lack of time and lack of witnesses. Justice will be delivered quickly and efficiently, said Mr. Fadnavis.
According to the new laws, it has been made that repeated dates cannot be requested to prolong the case. Due to this, the cases will be decided quickly and the justice process will be accelerated, said Chief Minister Fadnavis. The work of effective justice through the courts is underway. He also said that cases should be resolved quickly, or cases should not be allowed at all.
International standard law schools are going to be set up in Mumbai, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar in Maharashtra. Good lawyers will be prepared through this, said Mr. Fadnavis.
Supreme Court Justice Bhushan Gavai said, judicial infrastructure in Maharashtra is of high quality. The government is trying to ensure that justice reaches the last stage. It is our policy that justice should reach the doorstep of the party. For this, the state government should approve the Additional District Court at Mahad. Also, the country's first Advocate Academy and Research Center being set up in Navi Mumbai should be named after Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Justice Shri. Gavai also demanded that additional funds should be provided for this.
Justice Gavai told the entire sequence of events in this regard, saying that Dr. Ambedkar himself had come to the Mahad court in a historic case and argued for the Satyagrahis.
Speaking on the occasion, Eknath Shinde said, the state government is making every effort to provide speedy justice to all the common people. 32 courts have been built in the state and urgent work is being done through them regarding justice. In the last three years, the construction of 32 court buildings has been completed in the state. Also, vacant posts have been filled and digitization has been done. This has given momentum to the judiciary. The technology required in the current era, Artificial Intelligence, is the need of the hour and Deputy Chief Minister Shinde expressed his belief that the last person will get justice faster due to this. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde also expressed his belief that the work of the Mahad court will be completed as soon as possible and the work of providing justice will be done quickly through this building.
