Heavy traffic on the Butibori-Umred route It will continue via Outer Ring Road

Nagpur Dt. 23 : Heavy traffic on Butibori-Umred route will be diverted for construction of two-lane railway over bridge between Butibori-Borkhedi stations in Wardha Nagpur section of Central Railway. For the construction of this railway over bridge, heavy traffic on the Butibori-Umred route was allowed to be diverted through Nagpur's Outer Ring Road (NH 53) till 17 November. According to the Collector, a two-month extension is being given till January 15, 2023 through a notification regarding stopping heavy traffic and allowing detour route. Ordered by Vipin Itankar
Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited is a joint venture of Government of Maharashtra and Ministry of Railways. Under this initiative L. C. Gate no. 111 Road over bridge is under construction at this place. This gate falls between Butibori-Borkhedi railway station in Wardha Nagpur division of Nagpur division of Central Railway.
Traffic may be disrupted due to ongoing construction. Therefore, until the completion of the entire work, the working road will be closed for heavy vehicles and the heavy traffic will be diverted to another route. So that the railway bridge can be completed by March 2023. Light vehicles (two wheelers, four wheelers) can be transported from the railway gate.
As it is not possible to carry on heavy traffic at this place, it is necessary to divert the heavy traffic on this route to other routes during the work. Also light vehicles can be transported from the railway gate.
