How did Kapil Sibal succeed in bringing relief to the Thackeray group at least temporarily?

New Delhi: A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today on the petition filed by the Thackeray Group against the decision of the Election Commission of India against the Shiv Sena party. The hearing was conducted before a bench of three judges. Interestingly, Chief Justice Dhananjay Chandrachud himself was in the three-judge bench. The Thackeray group got temporary relief due to the strong arguments made by the Thackeray group's lawyer Kapil Sibal during this hearing. It is clear that there will be no disqualification action on the MLAs of the Thackeray group at least for two weeks on the issue of whip.

After the Shinde group got the Shiv Sena, there was a hushed discussion that now they are planning a strategy to disqualify Thackeray group MLAs by issuing a whip. Kapil Sibal raised the issue in the Supreme Court and got relief for the Thackeray group MLAs for two weeks. Kapil Sibal said in the Supreme Court that the issue of disqualification by issuing a whip is harmful.

Will the judge take action against the lawyers of the Shinde group on the issue of disqualification of MLAs raised by Kapil Sibal? Asked that question. He said that he would not take such action at present. The Supreme Court then stayed any action against the Thackeray faction MLAs for a period of two weeks.
